Types of Education & Course Durations

Russian universities offer internationally recognized degrees with a heavy focus on medical sciences, engineering, and technology. Programs are available in both English and Russian mediums.

Visa Procedure

All student visa applications must be processed directly through the Embassy of the Russian Federation in Dhaka.

 

Step 1:

Secure an Official Invitation:

* Get accepted into an accredited university. The university must secure an official electronic invitation via the Ministry of Internal Affairs (MVD) or a telex via the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MFA).

Step 2:

Medical Screenings: 

* Bangladeshi nationals must undergo a specialized medical checkup and provide a physical, original HIV-Free/AIDS Certificate (valid for 3 months from the test date).

Step 3:

Online Application:

* Fill out and print the electronic visa application form via the official consular portal (visa.kdmid.ru).

Step 4:

Submission & Interview: 

* Visit the Russian Embassy Consular Department in Gulshan-2, Dhaka (open Sunday, Tuesday, Thursday) for a personal interview and to submit your passport, physical academic transcripts, financial affidavit, and fees.

Step 5:

Entry Visa Issuance: 

* You will be granted an initial single-entry visa valid for up to 90 days. Upon arriving in Russia, your university's passport department will extend this into a multi-entry long-stay visa.
