Types of Education & Course Durations

Visa Procedure (X1 / X2)

Student visas are categorized as X1 (for stays longer than 180 days) and X2 (for short-term studies under 180 days).

 

Step 1: Receive Official Documents:

* Once admitted, the Chinese university will send you an official Admission Notice and the crucial government-approved JW202 or JW201 Form.

Step 2: Online Portal Registration:

* Fill out the online visa application form via the official China Visa Application portal. Upload your passport scan, professional photo, JW202 form, and admission letter.

Step 3: Embassy Interview Step:

* Once the status shows "Under Review" or changes to "Video interview to be scheduled," you must attend an interview at the Chinese Embassy in Baridhara, Dhaka, bringing your printed form and passport.

Step 4: Visa Center Submission (Banani):

* After the embassy review changes your status to "Passport to be submitted," visit the Chinese Visa Application Service Center (CVC) at Banani, Dhaka. Here, you will submit physical documents, enroll your biometric fingerprints, and pay the visa fees.
